Luana A. Paluka age, age 95, passed away October 23, 2018 at the Oakland Manor. Luana was born June 29, 1923 in Council Bluffs to the late Frank J. and Selina A. Paluka and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1942. She was a legal secretary for the McGinn Law Firm for 33 years from 1954 to 1987. She was a charter member of the Pottawattamie County Association of Legal Secretaries, lifetime member of St. Peters Church, and their Altar and Rosary Society. Luana was a 65 year member of Catholic Daughters of America, St. Anthony Court #330, and also AARP. Survivors include her sister, Rose Maureen Paluka of Lakewood, Colorado; brothers, Francis J. Paluka of Iowa City, Iowa and John R. Paluka of Sunland, California; cousins, special friends, Ken and Pat Wright, Mariann Hilderbrand, Jan Delehant and Joan Goeser and beloved dog Maggie.
