Kenneth L. Grantham
August 29, 1950 - October 28, 2018

Kenneth L. Grantham, of Thornton, Colorado, passed away after his battle with cancer on October 28, 2018 surrounded by family.  He was born on August 29, 1950 in Dumas, Texas and grew up in Liberal Kansas.  He graduated from Liberal High School in 1968, continuing his education earning a Bachelor's Degree from West Texas State University (West Texas A&M) in Canyon, Texas

Kenny was actively involved in DeMolay, Boy Scout Troop 180 achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and was also a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Liberal as he was growing up.  Currently he and his wife Dee are members of North Metro Church of Thornton.

Life brought Kenny to his beloved Colorado in the early 80's.  He enjoyed skiing, hunting and fishing.  He was a member of the Grand County Search and Rescue.  Of all the experiences he had here in Colorado, his favorite was being a member of the guest relations team for the Denver Broncos.  He enjoyed working security at the National Western Stock Show.  Ken was always a people person who never met a stranger.

Survivors include his loving wife, Nannette Dee; two daughters, Sigrunn (Jason) Yost of Texarkana, TX, Marissa (Josh) Norcross of Brighton, CO; brother, Don Grantham of Austin, Texas; sister Nancy (Ted) Lausser of Oklahoma City, OK; step brother, Cody Luginsland of the home; five grandchildren, Ethan, Dylan, Morgan, Heaven and Jensen; six nephews; two nieces; great nieces and nephews; cousins; and many life-long friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Lillian Grantham of Brighton, CO; grandparents, Ira "Babe" and Alice "Runt" Grantham of Ponca City, OK and Mittie Simmons of Dumas, Texas.
