Mary Carolyn Robinson, "Carol", of Venice, FL (formerly ,of Medfield, MA and Verona, NJ) passed away peacefully at age 89 on Nov 16, 2018. Daughter of George Battye and Marion Battye (Oxford). Mother, wife, nurse, Graduate of Mountainside Hospital School of Nursing, homemaker, volunteer. Preceded in death by husband George Robinson and sisters Barbara Battye and Nancy Becker. Survived by sister Jean Samson, daughters Cindy Peterson and her husband Tom and Jennifer Grafton and her husband Ritch, son Paul Robinson and his wife Leah, and 6 grandchildren.Volunteer service spanning decades from transportation aide, vacation bible school organizer, friends of the jacaranda library, to giver of hugs.Enjoyed travel, church, bowling, golf, bridge, square dancing, and hugs.Funeral service at 1:00PM on Thursday, Dec 13th at Gulf Pines Memorial Park Chapel.In lieu of gifts or flowers, please make donations in her honor to the friends of the jacaranda library http://friendsofjacarandalibrary.org/membership/donate/, and give someone a hug.
