Our Beloved mother Doris Hazel Robinson O'Rear, 97, passed away Thursday November 1, 2018 in Mansfield, Texas.
Funeral Service: 12:30 pm Friday November 9, 2018 at Guardian Memorial Chapel. Visitation: 11:30 am Friday November 9, 2018 hour prior to service. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park.

Hazel was born in Quail, Collinsworth County, Texas on January 13, 1921.
She grew up in the Quail and Wellington Communities and attended schools in Quail. She was on the winning Quail High School basketball team in her last year of school. She lived through the hardest of times for Texas and the Country, the Depression and the massive dust storms of the 1930s.
She married Samuel Andrew (S.A.) O'Rear on January 29, 1941 in Hollis, OK. They had 4 children. They resided in Wellington, Rising Star and Amarillo, Texas. She later lived in Fort Worth and Mansfield to be near her daughters for care. She was a homemaker for her family and always taught them by example to be good and honorable person When her children became adults, she began to do caregiving for the elderly in Amarillo. Our mother was the most amazing person and always held us to a high standard in our lives and loved us all unconditionally. She will be missed by all who knew her for her friendly and loving presence.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervie Robert and Reeda Estalee Finley; two brothers, Dennis Robinson and Ervie " Son" Robinson; and two sisters, Fern O'Rear, and Truma Morris. She is survived by her daughters, Joyce E. Brown ( Jimmy), Rita K Hagler ( Gerry), Linda G. Barry ( Mark); and Son L. Wallace O'Rear ( Barbara); 5 Grandchildren; Cindy Wilson ( Jason). Kimbra Brown, Jennifer Hart ( Rickey), Lisa Menefee ( Wes) , and Meghan Kaminski ( Keith); five great grandchildren, Garret Wilson, Alyssa Wilson, Julia Hart, Chase Menefee, and Finn Kaminski.
We would love to say thank you to the staff of The Pavilion of Creekwood in Mansfield who cared for our mother the last few years and a special thank you to Travis for his caring heart and special attention. We send our special love to Pam Carr for the attention she gave our Mother as a special friend.
