Colleen Flanagan Palmer VanDemark, passed peacefully at her residence on Thursday afternoon, January 10, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Kingston on February 27, 1971 and was the daughter of Jaqueline Anderson Flanagan and the late Robert J. Flanagan
She was a graduate of Kingston High School and had attended Ulster County Community College, she had been employed by the Institute for Family Health, as enrollment coordinator for 19 years.
Colleen loved arts and crafts, the Holidays and traveling with her husband. She had been a mentor for children throughout her life, she loved to organize family trips and was a wonderful hostess.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving family, her husband Maurice VanDemark, her children Jacob Palmer, Jalen Palmer and step son Maurice VanDemark II, her siblings Kelly Flanagan, Shannon Flanagan and Michael Flanagan
Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, the Memorial Gathering will be on Sunday from 6 - 9 pm. All are welcome.
