In loving memory of

Waylon Menssen
October 8, 2000 - March 8, 2008

Waylon Leslie Menssen was born October 8, 2000 in Windom, MN to Maina Simich and Jonathan Menssen. Waylon attended first grade at Winfair Elementary School in Windom.

Waylon enjoyed being with his dad working on small engines and riding in the road grader when his dad was grading or plowing the roads. He also enjoyed riding in the 18 wheeler hauling livestock with his dad, camping, fishing or just riding in the boat. Waylon road his first horse when he was one year old. He road motorcycle with his dad at the age of 3 and didn't want to get off. He would go with his dad and work on the 18 wheeler handing wrenches or a grease rag to him. One time when visiting Grandma Helen, he thought her toilet needed fixing and took off the toilet seat. Waylon liked to play cars, trucks, and dozers. He liked riding his bike, playing on the computer or video games. He also played with doors-opening and closing them. Waylon was a loving, smiling, and outgoing boy. He was our son. We'll always love him, cherish his memories and keep him close to our hearts.
