Pearl Hoden, age 96, of Council Bluffs, passed away January 7, 2019 in Fresno ,California while visiting her daughter and family. She was born November 24, 1922 in Rockport Missouri. Pearl resided in Council Bluffs for 70 years. She worked at Mercy Hospital for 22 years as a Nurse Technician 3, and was a member of the first Church of the Nazarene for many years. Pearl was married to Samuel Hoden for 35 years, and he preceded her death in 1988. A son, Ronald E. Buchholz also preceded her in death in 2004. Survivors include daughter, Delores (Dee) Ray of Fresno, California; son, William (Bill) Buchholz of Council Bluffs; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-great-grandchild.
