Ronald Clark Smith, age 59, passed away January 28, 2019 at his home. Ron was born March 23, 1959 in Council Bluffs to the late Ronald E. and Adeline Clark Smith and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. He was united in marriage to Georgia Bridenbaugh on May 27, 1983. Ron worked for 40 years as a printer for Packaging Corp. of America. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Alex and in-laws, George and Dorothy Bridenbaugh. Survivors include wife, Georgia; son, Aaron Ballenger and wife, Andrea; grandchildren, Savannah Macklin and Erik Ballenger; sisters, Jeanne Andrews and husband, Charles of Council Bluffs, Carole Smith of Omaha; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Foley of Council Bluffs; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sue and Don Ellenberger of Omaha, Janice and Dan Williamson of North Carolina; nieces and nephews.
