Maria del Carmen Valdez, 69, a resident of Mercedes Texas went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 20, 2019. She was born November 30, 1949 to Mauro and Felicitas Rodriguez Alvarado in Torreon Cahuilla Mexico. She is survived by her loving family: Husband: Librado Valdez of Mercedes Texas, 3 children: Nancy (Agustin) Colorado of Monterrey Mexico, Edgar (Sonali) Valdez of Mission Texas, Omar (Sandra) Valdez of Mission Texas, 9 grandchildren and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00p.m. In respect to Mrs. Valdez's wishes this concludes all funeral services. Funeral services are under the direction and care of Rudy Garza Funeral Home of Mercedes Texas.
