In loving memory of

Blanche F. Logan
May 22, 1920 - February 11, 2019

Jeanette and Middleton Williams brought into the world a beautiful daughter on May 26, 1920 and they named their beautiful daughter Frankie Blanche Williams.

Many have called this beautiful woman Blanche, Sis, Mama, Granny, great grandmother and BB. Some even have that unique special relationship wherein they have called her Frankie. The love of her life was known for affectionately calling her "Slim".

Blanche is best remembered saying "Our family is too small so let's not argue and fight" and "My word is my bond." Most people remember her love for crystals and handbags and the fact that her favorite color was green.

If you sat and watched her you quickly came to know she was a God loving, God worshipping women and New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church was her place of worship. You also came to know that she had outstanding work ethics.
If you listened while she worked, she could be heard humming a tone while sucking on a peppermint.
If you listened when she spoke you would hear the love of her four daughters come through loud and clear. There was nothing she wouldn't do for those four girls. "My four daughters" is how most of her conversations started.

She had a smile of agape love come across her face when she spoke of "Sis". Through witnessing her love for "Sis" her children and future generations were taught what it means to love your siblings and your family.

Today, Mrs. Blanche F. Williams (Mcdade) Logan is preceded to glory by Raymond McDade (husband), Georgia and Edgar Russell (sister and brother-in law), Yvonne Clark (oldest daughter), and Joann Skaggs-Gaulden (youngest daughter).
She leaves to celebrate and continue her legacy, daughters Betty Glenn and Delores Johnson.
Her legacy will be carried on through grandchildren: Deborah Clark-Brewer, Melvin Gleaves (Khisha), Robbin Clark, Marilyn Gleaves, Mark Gleaves, Myra Gleaves, Kim Laureano (Jose' Laureano), Tyrone Skaggs (Kia), April Gleaves, Terry Skaggs (Sheila Skaggs), Kris Walker-Guess (Ronald Walker), Billy Glenn (Carmen Glenn) and Todd Skaggs.
