Ruth Elizabeth Huffman of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, friends and caretakers on March 7th, 2019, at the age of 86.
Ruth was a retiree after 30 years at Sears, Roebuck and Co. who was fascinated by history, treasured her memories from traveling, adored her pets, and especially enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Randall Huffman; son, Gary (Mary) Vinson; daughter, Donna (Eddy) Martin; stepson, Cameron (Tara) Huffman; grandchildren: Nick Vinson, Eric (Gloria) Martin, Renee (Jimmy) Hale, Hannah Huffman, Jacob Huffman; great grandchildren: Victoria and Christiauna. She is preceded in death by her parents and late husband Edward Vinson.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the love, care and support they and Ruth received from so many family members and dear friends, especially Ruth's beloved nieces, Tamara, Karen and family; cherished neighbor, Ginny; health care providers and caretakers with Vitas Hospice & Palliative care, especially Wendy.
