John P. Andersen age 81, passed away March 16, 2019 after an extended illness. John was born December 1, 1937 in Council Bluffs to Herbert and Gladys Andersen. He was in construction with his brother Herb until retiring. John was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Herb. John is survived by his wife Mary; children, Dayna Moore (Scott) of Denver, David Andersen, Deborah Hospodka all of Council Bluffs, and Donald Andersen (Kim) of Blue Springs, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jean Andersen and Janene Timm; nieces and nephews.
