""You are with me" is the heart and core of Psalm 23. It is a Psalm of comfort and assurance, reminding us that we're going to have those experiences of life that re so difficult and painful and hard that the only thing we have is God. Only a person who has been through a deep, dark, painful valley understands such pain. God is with you during this time of sorrow and He says in His word that He will never leave you or forsake you. He who dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust"...Under His wings you shall take refuge. Psalm 91:1-4
God bless you family - Sis Apryl Darlene McMiller"

"Freddie Jackson was one of my most admired teachers at Pence School. My daughter, Macayla, was born with a mental disability. Mrs. Jackson had the ability to know exactly what type of education she needed and knew she was not getting it. Mrs. Jackson asked the principal if she could have Macayla just sit in her classroom during the day to "soak up" what knowledge she could. The principal adamantly refused to let that happen. Mrs. Jackson felt bad about the situation, but I will always remember and respect her for her gesture. She was truly a wonderful lady!!! Sharon Coffin, Fairfield, IA"

"I was saddened to see the obituary notice of one of my favorite teachers, Mrs. Jackson, in the Fairfield Ledger. I had the honor of being student of hers in 1978-1979. I struggled with math and remember many after school afternoons where she would take the extra time to help me understand the basics. Even though I didn't appreciate it at the time; I somehow knew that she was only holding me after for my best interest. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Krista (Robertson) Fulton"
