"Andy, Jean and families it is hard to put into words the person that your mom was. She loved you both dearly and always wanted you to have more than she ever had in life. She was a quick whit, with a special sense of humor, she loved life. I so remember your trips to South Dakota and mine to Wisconsin. Your mom with her smokes in one hand and a beer in the other, cracking jokes and making everyone roar. She had an infectious laugh that you could not help but join in. As she aged she may have mellowed but her sense of the love of life did not ever stop. She will be greatly missed. I am sure my Mom will miss her weekly talks with her and I will miss hearing about them. God's Speed Bernice! We will miss you dearly. Love your niece, Brenda "
