Doris Jean Stokke, age 93, of Ames, passed away on June 6, 2019 at the Waterford in Ames. Funeral service will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Nevada Baptist Church in Nevada. Visitation will be held from 5-7:00 P.M. on Monday, June 10, 2019 at Nevada Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Adams Funeral Home and online condolences may be left for the family at www.adamssoderstrum.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Doris' name may be directed to the Nevada Baptist Church or to a charity of individual choice.
