MADISON-Julie M. Sheldon, age 46, of Madison, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, June 10, 2019. She was born on April 27, 1973, in Madison, the daughter of William Sheldon and Kathleen (Thomas) Kruk. Julie graduated from Oregon High School in 1991. She worked as a fund development manager for RISE Wisconsin for several years. Julie was a member of the Madison Builders Association and the president of the Autism Society of South-Central Wisconsin. She was active in RISE Wisconsin, and the co-founder of Quiet Santa and she was a volunteer for Adopt-A-Family; these are just a few of her accomplishments. Julie loved going to see live music, taking road trips and outdoor adventures, going camping, and attending hockey games. She was a creative artist and loved to paint. Julie was a very involved mother and loved spending time with her family and friends. She always had an open-door policy for everyone, and made it a priority to put her family and friends first. Julie's love for life inspired others to live life to the fullest. She will be truly missed. Julie is survived by her parents; son, Corey Sheldon; brothers, Steven (Heidi) Sheldon and James (Deb) Sheldon; life partner, Bo Bracey; nieces, Amanda Sheldon and Caitlin Sheldon; nephews, Joshua Sheldon and Steven Sheldon; great niece, Harlee Sheldon; and stepdaughter, Tavi Bracey. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; stepfather, Fred Kruk; aunt, Susan; nephew, Matthew Adams; and cousin, Tommy. A private family burial will be held at Natural Path Sanctuary in Verona.
