In loving memory of

Janet Theresa Schorr
February 15, 1931 - December 7, 2010

Janet Theresa Schorr, 79 years old of Madison Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday Dec 7, 2010 surrounded by her loving family, who, along with her little dog Molly were the true passions of her life. Janet and her husband Carl, who adored her, were married 62 years and together shared in the love of their 6 children, Patty Kubala (Tom), Talia Schorr (John), Karen Schorr, Tom Schorr (Margo), Leslie Johnson (Mark) and Tim Schorr. Janet and Carl were also blessed with 21 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Janet was known for her love and kindness toward all people and was a second mom to many. She was a prolific seamstress and knitter with a love for suduko, coffee and reading her kindle. Janet and Carl's home was a home to all with a revolving door to visitors daily. A few of Janet's final thoughts were in wondering "how many people do you think we touch in the course of our lives" and "how many people get to experience true love". Janet left the world with the joy of knowing that she was truly loved and left her loving imprint on countless people throughout her life. She will be greatly missed.   A visitation will be held from 5pm until 7pm, on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at CRESS   FUNERAL   HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison, WI, with a Celebration of Janet's life to follow at 7 pm.

"Jan was a super neighbor and friend. We loved her and the family. It is so sad to learn that she is no long with us. She taught me to knit a wonderful jacket. She encouraged Kevin & Tim in their fun and swimming. She took care of Erik when I needed sleep after working a night shift at Meriter ICU. She was always fun, positive and had the coffee pot on for friends and family. Jan will be missed but is alive in our many memories. Sherry & Larry Quamme "
