"As most people know, dad was a card. He always had a one liner or a joke to tell. We are compiling a list at the house of some of his more "famous" ones. Feel free to add them here as well please. One that many have repeated in the past few days was when people would ask him "if he had lived in Mingo his entire life" and he would always say "not yet!". "

Gini Myers wrote on Apr 13, 2011:

"Ronnie and I were so sorry to hear this. We used to have some really good times together Sandy. My main memory, besides you and Ronnie's talks of raising dogs, was a joke I told to Jerry, which I can't repeat, and forever after when I would see him he'd ask me if my feet stunk. I'd say "no" just so he could say the punchline. Our sympathy to you and the family. "
