He sacrificed finishing his education to take care of his family by working several jobs in his early years. Larry leaves behind his precious wife Peggy A. Campbell, his children Dereck, Teresa Shawn, LaToya and stepdaughter Denise, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded him in death was his mother Agnes, father Wallace, sister Mayfawn, stepmother Mary and his beloved brother Cecil and a beautiful stepdaughter Tina.
He worked as a Sexton at St. Paul Episcopal Church where he retired and before his retirement Larry went back to school to receive his high school diploma with honors. The family cherished the time they had with Larry and the family wishes to thank everyone who had the opportunity to see him, love him and enjoyed him.
In the lieu of flowers the family requested donations be sent to St. Jude in Larry G. Campbell's name.

"To the wife Peggy and family members of Larry Campbell, I offer my prayers and condolences. I recall the years growing up in Indianapolis with endearing memories of my cousins and my mothers' brothers and sister. The fun Campbell family reunions whether at Uncle Joe's, Uncle Wallace's, or baby sis Sarah's house, we all had a great time...food, family and laughter. Peggy and family stay strong and never forget the treasure of love that bonded you. Heaven has a new angel. A cousin-in-law from afar....Parthenia Weaver in AZ aka "Pat" to family and old friends. "
