Peter Dane Bauer

Mr. Peter Dane Bauer, age 42 years, of Port Washington, WI, formerly of Gwinn, MI, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2007 at Heritage Health and Rehabilitation Center in Port Washington. Pete was born in Oconomowoc, WI on June 29, 1964, the son of Rev. Ronald Bauer and Marion Dane Bauer. He graduated from Hopkins High School, Hopkins, MN in 1982. On October 6, 1990 he married Katy Satterlee in Charlotte, MI. Peter most recently was self employed as a computer technician, but his first love was working as "Elmo" the Clown and doing magic. He was very active in the community of Gwinn, volunteering as a Cub Scout Leader and Cub Master for Pack 350, coaching soccer and little league, and a member of the Forsyth Township ACTIVE Police Reserve Unit. He also was an avid sportsman and gun collector, and was a big fan of J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. Mr. Bauer is survived by his wife Katy, sons Connor, Brannon and Cullen all of Port Washington, his father Rev. Ronald (Dianne) Bauer of San Juan Capistrano, CA, his mother Marion Dane Bauer (Ann Goddard) of Eden Prairie, MN, one sister Beth-Alison (Terry) Berggren of Annandale, MN, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many, many friends. Funeral services for Mr. Bauer will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to the Peter Bauer Educational fund for the benefit of his children.
