ERNEST W. SADER



Ernest "Ernie" Sader, age 92 years, formerly of Port Washington, Mequon and Crivitz, died Monday, April 17, 2006 at Samaritan Health Center in West Bend where he had been a resident since November. He was born January 2, 1914 in Ramona, Kansas, son of Peter and Katrina Sader. He was a WW II Army Air Corps veteran, serving in North Africa and England. On December 10, 1943 he married Fern Pentony at St. Rose Catholic Church in Milwaukee. He worked as a mechanic at American Can Co. in Milwaukee, retiring in 1975 after 26 years. Mr. Sader was a former member of Our Lady of Good Hope Catholic Church in Milwaukee and currently a member of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Cedarburg , the Howard Schroeder American Legion Post in Mequon, and a 4th Degree in the Knights of Columbus, He is survived by his wife Fern of Cedarburg, four children Donna Baumgartner of Leesburg, FL, Linda (Daniel) Ramthun of Grafton, Judith (James) Ramthun of Cedarburg and David (Joyce) Sader of York, S.C., nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and two sisters. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday evening, April 20, 7 PM at St. Francis Catholic Church North, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg. Burial will be in St. James Rose Hill Cemetery in Sussex. Visitation at the CHURCH Thursday from 5-7 PM. Memorials to the family appreciated.
