IRENE E. RISSE

Mrs. Irene Risse, recently of Sheboygan Progressive Care Center, formerly of Beechwood and Random Lake, passed away at Sheboygan Progressive Monday afternoon, October 31, 2005. She was 86 years old. Irene was born in the Town of Kohler on April 16, 1919, daughter of August and Mary Goll Kramer. On October 25, 1941 she was united in marriage with Arthur F. Risse at St. Paul's Evangelical Reform Church in Silver Creek. The couple farmed for awhile in Silver Creek. Irene later worked as a machine operator for Power Products in Grafton and then worked in Fredonia at JVC Plastics. She and her husband also did rural delivery for the Sheboygan Press for many years. Art preceded her in death in 2001. Irene loved shooting pool and visiting with friends. She is survived by 1 daughter: Marilynn (Wesley) Brown of Sheboygan Falls and 2 sons: Arthur (Fay) Risse of Sheboygan Falls and Rocky J. (Vicki) Risse of Belgium. She is further survived by 8 grandchildren: Clarence (Bonnie) Mueller of Cedar Grove, Randy (Helen) Mueller of Random Lake, Tina Lawrenz of Oostburg, Allen (Julie) Risse of Manitowoc, Tammy (Randy) Meyer of Sheboygan Falls, Kevin Risse, Keith Risse and Kyle Risse, all of Belgium. Irene is also survived by great-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law Ruth Risse of Silver Creek and Alita Kramer of Sheboygan, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Art, 1 daughter Phyllis Mueller, 1 sister Norma Kozak, 4 brothers: Lester, Arvin, Walter and Gilbert. Funeral Services will be Friday, November 4th, 7PM at the Eernisse Funeral Home, 171 N. Royal Ave (Hwy LL & Park St.). Fr. James Ernster will officiate. Interment will be in St. Stephan's Cemetery, Batavia. Visitation will be Friday from 6-7PM at the Funeral Home.
