David "Hans" Arendt

DAVID S. "HANS" ARENDT

Hans Arendt, age 42 years, of 3966 Hwy LL, in the Town of Port Washington, WI, died October 11, 2002 as a result of the fog-related collisions on I-43. He was born in Port Washington on January 12, 1960, son of Allan and Agnes Arendt. On February 14, 1980 he married Brenda Barsch in Port Washington. Mr. Arendt worked as an enamaler for Kohler Company. He had been an employee there for 14 years. He enjoyed hobby farming, helping people, hunting and going on cruises with his wife and friends. He was an "avid sports father" and enjoyed watching his sons grow up. Hans was a great mechanic, and was known for his love of a good time. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Brenda, of Port Washington, their 5 sons, Jeremiah, Joseph, Matthew, Michael and David Jr., all of the Port Washington area, his parents, Allan and Agnes Arendt and his parents-in-law, Roland and Mary Barsch, also of Port Washington. He is further survived by 6 brothers: Dan , Dale (Chris), Duane (Kathy Purtz), Dean "Butch", all of Port Washington, Al Jr. (Marie) of Adell , Doug (Laurie) Arendt of Grafton, Denise (Kevin) Tappa of Port Washington, Debra (Larry) Newell of Mequon and Deanna (Rick) Lee of Grafton, 3 brothers-in-law: James (Karen) of Corpus Christi, TX, Roland "Rocky" (Brenda) of Magnolia, TX, and Brian (Rebekah) Barsch of Whitefish Bay, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 14, 2002 7:30 PM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1800 N. Wisconsin St., Port Washington, with Father Joseph Haas officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Washington. Visitation will be Monday AT CHURCH from 3-7:30 PM. Memorials to the family are appreciated.
