ROSE ANN LEISCH

Mrs. Rose Ann Leisch, of Fredonia Ave. in Fredonia, passed away at Columbia-St. Mary's Ozaukee Campus in Mequon on Thursday evening, December 21, 2006. She was 52 years old. Rose Ann was born in Batavia on November 10, 1954, daughter of Ardell and Glendora Dewald Bayer. After attending Ozaukee High School, Rose Ann graduated in the Class of 1973. She was united in marriage with Kenneth Leisch on February 17, 1984 in Port Washington. The couple have lived in Fredonia ever since. Rose Ann was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Fredonia. She enjoyed drawing and listening to meditation tapes. Mrs. Leisch is survived by her husband, Ken, of Fredonia, a step-daughter, Jennifer (John) Ruppel of Sheboygan, her father Ardell Bayer of Fredonia, 1 sister, Debra Bayer of Sheboygan and 2 brothers: Richard Bayer of Gillett and John Bayer of Fredonia. She is further survived by 4 sisters-in-law: Cathy Harmon of IL, Mary Lanser of Ogema, Sue (Jeffery) Pappe of Saukville and Nancy Leisch of Ogema, 2 brothers-in-law, Robert Leisch of Ogema and William Lanser of NC, aunts and uncles: Sharon Schneider of Milwaukee, Burnell (Judith) Dewald of Sheboygan, Lorraine Lange and Joyce Lubner, both of Fredonia, Shirley Berndt of Burlington, Carolyn Gerth and James (Barbara) Bayer, both of Sheboygan Falls and Orville Bayer of Janesville. Mrs. Leisch is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 28th, 2 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 824 Fredonia Ave., Fredonia. Pastor Robert Zick will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday at the CHURCH form 1-2PM. Memorials are suggested to the family.
