Chorsia "Charlie" Day
February 11, 1940 - September 30, 2019

Chorsia Day (Charlie), was born on February 11, 1940 in Sharon, MS to the parents of Moses Day SR, and Henrietta Spivey. This union was blessed with 12 children.
Charlie Day married Willa Mae Wright in Indianapolis on March 1, 1959. Four children were honored to call them parents.
Chorsia was a talented singer; he loved quartet music, and sang in several quartet groups over the years. He retired from Chrysler Corp in 1991, and went on to own and operate his own trucking company. Hardworking and full of life, he was a joyous person, and blessed so many with his generosity and good heart. Father to many with his words of wisdom and enlightened spirit.
God the Father welcomed him to his throne on September 30, 2019. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Willa Mae Day, children, Linda Barnett Roy (Edward), Vicky Day, Denise Grisby (Steve), Dennis Day (Rhonda), His siblings, Fannie Austin (George B.), James B, (Doris), Roosevelt, Henrietta, C.L., and Arthur (Charlotte). 9 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death with both of his parents, as well as Moses Day Jr., Joe Lewis Day, John Thomas Day, Jimmy Day, (all brothers).
