MADISON/VERONA - Dean A. Nesbitt, age 83, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2019, at The Villa at Middleton Village. He was born on Jan. 5, 1936, in Verona, the son of Lewis and Mabel (Denton) Nesbitt. Dean was a hard-working farmer all of his life. He enjoyed building model cars in his free time and enjoyed watching western shows. Dean is survived by his sister, Sharon Nesbitt; nieces, Kathy Ramey and Dawn (Scott) Roe; nephews, Walter (Deb) Zweifel and Gary Zweifel; and great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Elaine (Frank) (survived by son, Francis) Linzmeier, and Kathryn (Walter) Zweifel; brothers, Lewis Jr. (Ruth) Nesbitt and Howard (survived by Beverly and her daughter Lori (Al) Maier) Nesbitt; and nephew, Howard Nesbitt, Jr. A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, 2019.
