Shane L. Ketelsen, 40 of Clinton passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 due to an electrical accident.
A memorial visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Rugby Clubhouse on 11th Avenue South, Clinton, Iowa. Shane Lee Ketelsen was born November 19, 1978 in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of Kenneth and Sheryl (McAleer) Ketelsen. He attended Camanche High School and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1997. He worked for Alert Construction for 8 years and ran his own roofing business over the past 5 years.
Shane could most often be found tinkering in his garage. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends most.
He will be dearly missed by his parents: Kenneth (Kathleen Kimble) Ketelsen of Camanche and Sheryl (Kenneth) Doxsee of Camanche; three sisters: Sarah Kimble of Clinton, Abby (Wesley) Farrell of Camanche and Courtney (Dakotah) Clements of Durant; niece and nephews: Olivia and Finn Kinkaid, Cullan Farrell, and Hudson Farrell; girlfriend: Sarah Snowden of Clinton and her children: Devon and Madisyn; his dog, Baxter and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, his beloved dog, Buster Brown, and his and longtime friends Nick Rickertsen, Joe Plummer, and Bruce Mays.
