JoAnne Hill, 85, of Clinton, passed away, Monday, October 21, 2019 at the Alverno.
Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Friday, October 25, 2019 at the Clinton Chapel Snell Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. JoAnne Prestley was born on January 10, 1934 in Morrison, Illinois, the daughter of Raymond and Eva (Aiken) Prestley. She was a 1952 graduate of Fulton High School. She married Ralph Richmond on September 20, 1953 in Albany, Illinois, he died in February 14, 1959. She later married Roy Hill on June 30, 1967 in Morrison, Illinois; he died September 29, 2002.
JoAnne was a clerk at Eagles for over 30 years; retiring in 1992.
JoAnne was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed scrapbooking, reading, and an excellent cook. She especially enjoyed being around her family and friends.
JoAnne is survived by her daughter: Debra (Steve) Jones of Low Moor; her son: Thomas (Sandra) Richmond of Appleton, Wisconsin; her step-daughters: Vickie (Dave) Sanders of Lowden, Iowa, and Susan (Raymond) Schubert of Farmington, Missouri; 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; and her sister: Karen (Bob) Endress of Morrison, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands; 6 brothers, 3 sisters; and a step-son.
Memorials can be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children; in appreciation of the care that she received in her youth.
