"To my dear friend from the past. My friend who I wished farewell many years ago. My friend who sent me into the basement of Buchel's looking for the "oven stretcher" that didn't extist. My friend who turned me on to so many great movies and songs. You never understood why I had looked up to you so much. You had such a free and positive spirit. To my dear old friend Mark, I have always missed you and it brings me great sorrow knowing that you are not here to enjoy the beautiful life you had with your wife and family. "My thoughts and prayers are with Jennifer and the rest of their family and friends during this difficult time. I really appreciated Mark's willingness to help out and his overall friendship. Mark had a very strong work ethic and always approached a project with vigor and a sense of humor. Occasionally when a situation was not ideal and became challenging, Mark had a keen ability to remain productive and aim any frustration at the situation and not the people involved. Sometimes when traveling late at night, I enjoyed hearing Mark talk about some of the things he treasured in life such as Jenny, his dogs, camping, his home brew and Guitar Hero. I got numerous condolence calls from other members of the Sears family from all over the country who had worked with both of us at one time or another. He will be greatly missed.
