Mr. Cletus C. Bichler
Cletus Bichler, of Sheboygan, formerly of Dacada, passed away Thursday morning, June 3, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Sheboygan. He was 86 years old. Cletus was born November 20, 1923 in the town of Belgium, son of Nicholas and Susan Mayer Bichler. He was a farmer for many years, and also worked at Bolens Manufacturing in Port Washington as a milling machine operator. Mr. Bichler was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes, St. Nicholas Chapel in Dacada, as well as Catholic Knights. Cletus enjoyed traveling to Luxemburg and Europe, visiting and researching his family heritage, playing cards, singing and dancing. He is survived by seven children: Robert Bichler of Los Angeles, CA, William (Nancy) Bichler of Davenport, IA, Linda (Donald) Kies of Random Lake, Mary Ann Bichler of Milwaukee, Betty (Randy) Soerens of Random Lake, Doris Mueller of Mequon and Diane (Scott) Roeker of Pewaukee. He is further survived by his former wife Georgia (nee Westmoreland) Bichler of Random Lake, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters: Coletta Schmitt of Random Lake, Sr. Philip Neri of St. Francis, Mary (John) Schmitz of Belgium and Dorothy Bichler of Port Washington, 6 brothers: Vernon (Millie) of Adell, Clem (Geraldine) of Belgium, Gregory of Denvor, CO, Robert (Mary Jo) of Racine, Nic (Mary Ann) of Dacada and Tom (Bonnie) of Random Lake, 2 sisters-in-law: Barbara Bichler of Dacada and Marcia Fenner of Sheboygan Falls, 1 brother-in-law Elden Mondloch of Cedar Grove, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Fritz and Claude Bichler and 1 sister Rita Mondloch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30AM on Monday, June 7 at Our Lady of the Lakes, St. Nicholas Chapel in Dacada. He will be laid to rest in the parish cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the church on Monday morning from 10-11:30AM. The Eernisse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
