In loving memory of

D.B. Mullins
November 17, 1929 - December 16, 2019

D.B. Mullins was born on November 17, 1929 in Watson, Missouri. He was the 11th child of Alex and Rebecca (Bailey) Mullins. He passed away on December 16, 2019 at Elm Heights Care Center in Shenandoah.

D.B. spent his childhood on the farm in Fremont County. He attended college at Tarkio. He enlisted in the Army in 1950 and was stationed in Kentucky.

D.B. married Elizabeth Richardson on December 7, 1950. The couple had a daughter Teresa in 1951 and a son Jeffry in 1956.

D.B. was manager of Security Finance which later became Associates Finance from 1951 to 1973, when he started work at City National Bank as the loan officer. After retirement he and Elizabeth traveled the United States to visit all of his siblings. D.B. enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, collecting coins, golfing and listening to Louie Armstrong. His other great joy was spending time with this grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In his later life D.B. and Elizabeth wintered in Arizona. They enjoyed visits with their son Jeff and daughter-in-law Ginger each spring. Several years ago they moved in to their daughter's home in Shenandoah.

D.B. was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Elizabeth and all of 13 siblings.

D.B. is lovingly survived by his daughter Tery (Bill) Dickerson of Shenandoah; son Jeffry (Ginger) Mullins of Elko, Nevada; granddaughters Erin (Chris) Cook and Dayna Dickerson of Shenandoah and Regan Mullins of Boise, Idaho; and eight great-grandchildren who all assisted in his care as his Alzheimer's progressed, Kain Pickens and wife Alej; Karmyn Pickens; Madison, Mallory and Parker Dickerson and Morgan, Ellie and Averie Cook.

Celebration of life memorial graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Shenandoah with military rites provided by the Shenandoah American Legion Post 88 Color Guard. Memorial visitation with the family will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2019 at the Hackett-Livingston Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Wabash Trace Nature Trail.
