LeRoy "Bud" George Lesch was born on June 21, 1924 in Trimont, Minnesota to George and Anna (Olsen) Lesch. He received his education from a country school in rural Trimont and Lakefield Public Schools.

On June 15, 1947, Bud was united in marriage to Elaine Groff in Okabena, Minnesota. This marriage was blessed with two children, John and Nancy. Bud farmed his entire life around the Windom area. In 1988, Bud and Elaine moved to their home in Windom. Bud's health started to decline and he passed away on Sunday morning, May 15, 2011, at his home at the age of 86.

Bud was a member of the American Lutheran Church in Windom. He enjoyed fishing, farming, playing cribbage, hunting, watching birds, baseball, and the Minnesota Twins. Most of all, Bud enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bud is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Elaine Lesch of Windom; one son, John Lesch of Windom; one daughter, Nancy Lesch Rothstein of Windom; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Milly Beiber and her husband, Ed, of Lakefield; one brother, George Lesch of Lakefield; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Loren and Kenny Lesch; and two sisters, Bernice Maddson and Ester Stoyke.

Blessed be the memory of LeRoy "Bud" Lesch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sanford Hospice of Windom, Jackson and Worthington.
