"I met Jacque when I was 13 when I was a radio station groupie and ended up (somehow) being adopted by some of the DJ's Stan being one. Stan & Jacque were like surrogate parents in those days and took me everywhere with them. We played pinball hung at the station saw some really bad movies (Sergeant Pepper's??) and played pool. In turn Stan & Jacque adopted my own parents as surrogate parents. Somehow I survived all of the zaniness. When I was 14 Jacque and I had an adventure driving to downtown Chicago together so I could sit for the radio licensing exam. She nearly killed us. I crawled onto the floor of the car with a pillow over my head. I guess it would've made more sense to have buckled up huh? In college I still managed to visit them in Iowa now and then. More years passed and I have a family now but we still managed to stay in touch albeit sporadically. Jacque was one of the very important people in my life. I'll always remember her laugh and thinking of her will make me smile. My love and condolences to Stan to Maggie and her family and all of the other friends and family who loved Jacque. She is with her beloved Timmy now and will watch over all of us until our time comes.Peace to allKateAnd because I view life in terms of great rock songs:There are places I rememberAll my life...though some have changed; Some forever not for better; Some have gone and some remain...All these places have their momentsWith lovers and friends I still can recall; Some are dead and some are living; In my life I've loved them all.The Beatles In My Life"

"Stan & family...I will cry with you knowing that she is gone to us now. Heaven has welcomed a wonderful woman. Jacque's life was filled with faith family and friends. She laughed loved and lived life to the fullest. I remember Jacque coming into the store with her latest puzzle book in hand to share a bird story provide a family update or tell me about a new acquisition to her disney collection. Since moving she has brought many smiles to my face through e-mail communications. I adored her relationship with God. Jacque's memories are imprinted on our hearts. Treasure your memories just as I will. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless Kim & Tim Helmbrecht"

"Stan.........I can't tell you how sorry I was to hear Jacquie had passed away. I knew she was never in good health but this news was a total surprise. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She always had a fond greeting and a smile on her face. Unfortunately you folks didn't get to move to Arkansas which I know you'd looked forward to doing. Having lost a spouse myself I know you'll have a rough time of it for awhile. Believe it or not things do get better as time passes. You have our deepest sympathy. Mary Knudsen and Butch LaMothe"

"Stan & Shelley & Family:I am sorry to hear of the passing of Ms Jacque. Jacque always had this smile that could light up a room. And the laugh ! you would always know it was Jacque.. I always remeber the video class that we had to take in school that she taught . I also know that Shelley always thought of Stan & Jacque as her 2nd mom & dad. Jacque would always have a ear to listen & time to tell you hello & ask about your family when she saw you in a store. I know that she is in heaven because Heaven is a place that she will be the most happiest & glad to see her savior in Christ! We all will see her again in Heaven but not right now. She is no longer sufferning with her illness but in the arms of Jesus telling her that she is no longer suffering. Please know you are all in my thoughts & prayers.God Bless you all.Kari"
