Patricia Warywoda Boening, age 81 died Friday, June 10, 2011 in Arizona. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe. Burial will follow at Silent City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.
The daughter of Richard and Mabel Birkenholz Dalton, Patricia was born on August 17, 1929, in Zearing, Iowa. On April 3, 1976, she was united in marriage to John Boening. Patricia enjoyed flower gardening and was proud of her children. In the 1950's, she volunteered at Veterans Hospital and in the 1960's was a popular waitress at Scarpinos' in Windsor Heights.
Those left to honor her memory are her husband John; children; Steve (Betty) Warywoda, Ted (Pat) Warywoda, Sally (Jim) Walling and Lorene (Jeff) Vaughn; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a sister Alice Trotter and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents, and four brothers.
