"Dart will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for all the positives he brought to us. Our hearts go out to his family and friends. He will always be remembered; especially when Harry see a PBR pickled gizzards a black bear or his tach goes over 300000 rpm?s.Melissa can honestly say that if it wasn?t for Dart she would have NEVER tried squirrel (it taste likes chicken). Melissa will also never forget her first (and only experience thus far) of hunting. Dart took this freezing California girl to the blind set the heater up and told her not to make noise. There she sat in the blind motionless afraid of scaring away any deer. Yes she knows next time she will actually shoot! We hope that Dart was able to get his nemesis albino squirrel!"

"I was saddened to hear of Dart's passing. It was many a year ago that I experienced Dart's wit and humor. I remember his love for hunting on a couple occassions when I went along with his dad Arlo and my brother and Bobby. I also appreciate the fact that it was Dart who took the family to the Maquoketa River where I experienced my first time ever on water skis. Was lots of fun and his laugh and wit was contagious. My most sincere condolences to Aunt Winifred and Dart's brothers and sisters who I often think about as among the cousins I love so much even though I havent been very good at keeping in touch with through the years. God Bless all of you."

"To have Dart as a neighbor on the Fox was more than anyone could ask for. So many years have gone by knowing that a trip from Amherst to our little cottage on Ferry Lane would always include a friendly greeting from Dart And Doris. We have special memories of boat trips down the river or conversations around the campfires. He was always there to lend a hand and he'd never tire from new projects in the neighborhood We'll truly miss him but will also be thankful to have had him for a friend. "
