"Dad was a GREAT Dad! He would help you do anything you needed. He would give his last dime to help someone. He had friends from all over the place. He had no trouble making them. My Dad had a big heart and maybe that is where I got it. From my Dad and Mom. He was a great listener and adviser. I will miss so many things about him. From all his animals to driving his tractors around Times when he would go to the sale barns and come home with many boxs of just .. junk. he would have this big smile on his face like a kid in a candy store. to most of all his wild sayings How he came up with some of these I don't know. I will remember always the times when we couldn't drive down the lane to their house and he had to come with the fox and haul us in. I think he enjoyed that. I know growing up we thought were tough rules etc but now as we are adults they weren't so bad. He was always looking out for us. All those long hours driving miles trucking from state to state to make sure we had a warm bed to sleep in and food on the table before himself. He was a great Grandpa to the kids. Would let them swing on his iron leg back and forth when they were small and just smile at them. He mad sure that Mom had everything she needed. I will miss Dad so much but I know he will be watching over us and it gives me great comfort. "
