Bobby J. Bose
September 15, 1944 - July 14, 2020

Robert "Bobby" Joe Bose, son of Ellison Wilbur and Mary Jane (Moore) Bose, was born on September 15, 1944 in Shenandoah, Iowa. Bobby passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak, Iowa at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 29 days.

Bobby was employed by World Publishing in Shenandoah as a skilled Pressman. He also worked on projects for many local companies including Earl May. He was an ordained minister helping countless inmates grow to know the Lord.

Bobby enjoyed camping, fishing, playing his guitar and joining friends around the campfire for impromptu jam sessions. He also was one heck of a poker player and had an amazing poker face.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and infant daughter Sherri Jo Bose. He is survived by his daughter Linda Jean Helmick of Woodward, Oklahoma, sisters Kathy Stanbrough of Shenandoah, Iowa and Cheryl Bose of Essex, Iowa, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Essex Cemetery in Essex, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family.
