CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA #45;- Eric S. ''Botch'' Bieber, 17, of 1930 Parkland Dr., Ely, died, Wednesday, August 2, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Steven Rosonke. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established. Eric was born on Sept. 23, 1982, in Muscatine, to Robert F. and Wendy Krebs Bieber. He attended Metro High School in Cedar Rapids, where he was to be a senior this year. He was employed at Cedar Rapids Pizza. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and Immanuel Baptist Church. He enjoyed playing the guitar, skateboarding and fishing. Survivors include his father and stepmother, Robert F. and Laura Bieber of Ely; his mother and stepfather, Wendy and Dwight Walters of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Brett, Schuyler and Christian, all of Ely; paternal grandparents, Robert J. and Marcella Bieber of Muscatine; maternal great-grandfather, Eldo Krebs of Davenport; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and special friend, Michelle Monroe of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth E. and Doris Krebs.

You were always my role model even with your troubles. Miss you and the family too. Hangout with the bros still and with Brett for my bday at the hawks game. It was the best day yet. Trying not to get stuck in the past but I can't help it sometimes cause I miss u. It's crazy looking back seeing family post here. Especially Grandma and Grandpa. It's because we love u so much and you were taken too soon. Hope you and Fat mat are taking it easy. see you again"
