Kay Cawiezell

Kay Cawiezell, daughter of Leland Henry and Elva Maxine Rife Aggson, was born in Iowa City, Iowa on November 23, 1939. She was a 1958 graduate of Tipton High School and a graduate of Cedar Rapids Beauty School as well. Kay was united in marriage on August 16, 1958, to Walter \Wally\" Theodore Cawiezell in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Together they owned and operated the Tipton Maid Rite for 17 years. Kay also owned and operated Kay's Beauty Shop for 13 years. Kay is loved and survived by her husband Wally Cawiezell of Tipton Iowa; her sons Jeffrey Cawiezell & wife Kitty of Nashville Tennessee Kirk Cawiezell of St. Louis Missouri Scott Cawiezell of Cedar Rapids Iowa and Bradley Cawiezell of Cedar Rapids Iowa; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters Barbara Kautz & husband Jim of Marion Iowa and Dixie Martin & husband Ron of Tipton Iowa; and brothers Wyatt Gade of Moscow and Mike Gade & wife Peggy of West Branch Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Sharon Gade; and step-father Earl Gade.
