BONNIE LAW MUSCATINE, Iowa - Bonnie Agnes Law, 82, of 1106 Lincoln Blvd., died Thursday, May 16, 2002, at Unity Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2002, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 417 Green Street with The Rev. Rob Lathrop officiating. Pallbearers will be Mike Hintermeister, Nathan Burke, Michalle Colschen, Donald Turnbough, and Richard Rieke. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with Military Rites provided by the combined squads of the American Legion Post 27 and the V.F.W. Post 1565. Visitation will be form 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home, with a Vigil Service at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Law was born on Nov. 2, 1919, in Ava, Missouri, the daughter of Oscar and Edna Gray Ellison. She married F. Merle Law on July 14, 1946, in Springfield, Missouri. She has been a resident of Muscatine since 1946. She was a member of the St. Mary Church and was also a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 1565. She retired from Thatcher Plastic in 1982 as a secretary. She served as a clerk typist in the US. Army for four years in Huckstep, Egypt, during World War II. Survivors include a son, Roy E. Law Sr. and his wife, Maureen, of Madison, South Dakota; a daughter, Susan Burke and her husband, Dan, of Muscatine; four grandchildren, Debra Walton and her husband, Charles, of Nashville, Tenn., Melissa Hintermeister and her husband, Mike, of Muscatine, Jennifer Riley of Muscatine and Roy Law Jr. and his wife, Leslie, of Fort Hood, Texas; three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Riley, Rachael Walton and Seth Hintermeister; one brother, Vaughn Gray of Colorado; and three sisters, Gola Platz of Morro Bay, Calf., Eva Jones of Springfield, MO., and Margie Fruzzettia of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1975, and three brothers.
