George Creamer Jr. MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- George J. Creamer Jr., 72, Muscatine, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, at the Genesis East Medical Center, Davenport. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Jack Gallagher will officiate. Burial will be at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. After the burial, a luncheon will be held at the Eagles Lodge. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home. Mr. Creamer was born on Jan. 18, 1931, in Fairport, the son of George F. and Nuffie Brewer Creamer. He married Ramona I. Bishop on Nov. 30, 1952. He worked for Dewey Portland Cement which became Martin-Marietta for 29 1/2 years which is now named LaFarge Company. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Muscatine. Survivors include his wife; a son, LaVern F. Creamer and his wife, Paula, of Muscatine; two daughters, Georgia J. Wailgum and Tracey L. Peck and her husband, Mernon Peck Jr., all of Muscatine; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Alfred Creamer of Letts and Frank Creamer and his wife, Giesela, of Fruitland. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Viola Martin and Lida Dipple; and five brothers, James, Otis, Fred, Robert and Ray.
