JUDITH MACHLAN MUSCATINE, Iowa - Judith A. Machlan, 56, of 3237 Mulberry Avenue, died Monday, October 27, 2003, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. on Friday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Rev. Dan Schoepf of Calvary Church will officiate. Pallbearers will be Nathan Schmidt, Troy Thompson, Kory Urmie, Charlie Burroughs. An Honorary Bearer will be Brian Machlan. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Crossroads, Inc. Judith was born on June 10, 1947, in Muscatine, the daughter Clarence 'Bud' and Verna Hein Machlan. She worked at Crossroads in Muscatine as a assembler since 1980. She enjoyed the Statler Brothers, doing embroidery, watching the Wheel of Fortune, and going out to eat with her dad. She is survived by her father, Clarence 'Bud' Machlan of Muscatine; one brother, Clarence 'Butch' Machlan Jr. and his wife, Monica, of Mexico City, Mexico; one sister, Joyce Schmidt of Wilton; and three nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother.
