"I miss my "dad", I adopted him as my dad, because he is loving like a dad i always wished I had. I enjoyed many wonderful times with you these last few years. I still remember when you came to terri's birthday party two and a half years ago and you told the funniest story about her. I also remember Chapin asking you about Heaven just a few weeks before you left us to see Jesus. He will always remember what you told him about heaven. I love you dad and i will see you when I get there! Love always, Julie"

"Gerald was bus driver for all four of my children and a trusted his kind and gentleness. He was always interested in them and their activites. We both happen to be at the Grotto one Sunday a few years back. I was there with my family and he was there with youth from church. He seemed to enjoy his time with others. Blessings to the Caquelin family as you adjust to his death."

"Gerald was my bus driver up til 5th grade when we moved. He was the nicest guy I have ever known I loved him like a grandpa. He never got mad that he had to wait an extra 15 mins for us to get on the bus because we were always running late and one time my sister ran out to the bus after me and my sister and she fell in the mud haha he was nice and waited for her to go back inside and change. I enjoyed riding the bus because we always had a great time and conversations! He was very caring and sweet. I remember the day we told him it would be our last day riding the bus because we were moving, he broke down in tears and when he dropped us off at home he gave us each a little present. I will never forget him!!!! R.I.P! "
