"The heavens are rejoicing with you. Love always"
"I always think of Marigene as my second mom. I loved her gentle spirit, warm personality and easy smile and laughter. I have so many fond memories of visits to the farm, family outings, haircuts in the kitchen, delicious baked rolls, and of course the Kringla (your recipe just isn't the same in my hands but always makes me think of you! I'm so glad we got to see you this summer...our hearts did the talking. I know that Mom is glad to see you and that the two of you are making the angels smile. All my love."
"With deepest sympathy..I am sending lots of Love and Hugs Walt & Cheryl"

"Barb - I am so sorry. You & your fmaily will reamin in my prayers & thoughts. "
"Aunt Marigene, You and I have always had a special bond since I was born on your birthday. You were the kindest and most loving woman/Aunt. I'll never forget you and all the good times. Especially at Watermelon Days. I know there was a huge reunion in Heaven on Sunday. See you all again someday. Love and miss you."
"Mom, I miss you. Angels have taken you to rest in peace. Love you forever."
"Mom, I miss you so much already. I promise to take care of Dad and keep him out of trouble. Now I have to try and make the Kringla myself, but it will never be as good as yours. I remember all hugs & kisses, the scoldings and the teaching you gave me. All the times you tried to get me to wear a dress when I was in elementary school. All the times you wanted me to take Home Ec in high school and I said I'd take it next year....and I ran out of next years. I remember the look on your face when you first saw your grandaughter, then your great-grandson and then your great-grandaughter. You will live forever in my heart."
"To the best mom-in-law a guy could ever have. I will always remember you and the first cheesecake that you baked for me and laughing together as I tried to break through the rock hard crust and the box of Jello-Cheesecake mix that you gave me every Christmas after that telling me to "go make your own cheesecake!" and the bets we had for a $1 between ISU and U of I football games and the first time that I met you and you asked me what was wrong with my car because it was so noisy and for all the great holidays you enjoyed with us and most of all, just for being you...I will miss you, mom. "
"Shinning in the skies above, holding on to your tender love. Your time here on earth will be always be missed, Go rest in heaven sent off with our kiss. The love of Family & love of Friends, That you know my Dear will never end!"
