Ruby Fox MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Ruby Mae Fox, 90, Muscatine, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at Lutheran Homes. Services are 3 p.m. today at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, 2907 Mulberry Ave. Larry Hill will officiate. Casket bearers are Randy Pace, Gerald Dennis Jr., Rick Fox, Gary Searcy, Andrew Martin and Daniel Fox. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is 1 p.m. until service time today at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Lutheran Homes and Genesis Hospice. Mrs. Fox was born Oct. 26, 1913, in Putnam County, Mo., the daughter of Eddie Noble and Ida Belle Brownell Leonard. She married Walter Lee Fox April 23, 1938, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death in 1989. She had been a resident of the Muscatine area since 1937. She was a member of Assembly of God faith. She was employed at Muscatine General Hospital for 19 years as a nurse's aide. She loved to crochet and made many items by feel and count. She enjoyed gospel music and singing and loved her children and grandchildren. Survivors include two sons, Donald Fox and wife, Yvonne, and Glenn R. Fox and wife, Patricia, all of Muscatine; four daughters, Norma J. Terrill, Lois Pace and husband, Ralph, Frances Getz and husband, Terry, and Sharon Martin and husband, Phillip, all of Muscatine; 27 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers, a sister, three grandsons and a great-grandson.
