James 'Panther' Holladay Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, Bentley Funeral Home, Wilton. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. today, funeral home. WILTON, Iowa #45;- James D. 'Panther' Holladay, 56, Wilton, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. The Revs. Ray Salemink and Michael Salemink will officiate the services. Musical selections will be provided by organist, Deb Mohr. Casket bearers are Aaron Holladay, Jerime Hein, Larry Dusenberry Jr., Mat Dusenberry, Mark Holladay, Brian McKillip, Ray Sterner and Travis White. Honorary casket bearers are his nieces and nephews. Burial will be at Klein Cemetery, Moscow. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home. Mr. Holladay was born May 16, 1948, in Muscatine, the son of Floyd and Betty McConnaha Holladay. He married Mary A. Walker June 16, 1973, in Wilton. He was employed at Grain Processing Co., Muscatine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and the company of his dog, Lady. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Rodney Holladay and wife Jacqueline of Muscatine and Spc. Todd Holladay and wife Vickie of Nahiawa, Hawaii; his mother, Betty Holladay of Wilton; three sisters, Mary Trotter and fiancee, Mike Daufeldt of Wilton, Janet Marin of West Liberty, Penny McKillip and husband Dale of Atalissa; and six brothers, William Holladay and wife Gaylene of Wilton, John Holladay and wife Linda of Moscow, David Holladay and wife Carol of Wapello, Steve Holladay and wife Gina of Wilton, Robert Holladay and wife Shelley of Mulvane, Kan., and Paul Holladay and wife Karen of Muscatine. He was preceded by his father; and a sister, Patricia Holladay.
