Edna Mae Zaehringer MUSCATINE, Iowa #45;- Edna Mae Zaehringer, 90, died Monday, May 30, 2005, at Lutheran Homes. Funeral Services will be 1:30 pm Thursday, June 2, 2005, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. The Rev. Vicki Pederson will officiate. The casket bearers will be Scott Zaehringer, Ralph Zaehringer, Jr., John Mills, John Shryock, Jr., Clint DeKeyrel and Richard Mills. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery and a time of fellowship will follow at Lutheran Homes. Visitation will be 3 to 6 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2005, and Noon until service time Thursday, June 2, 2005, at the funeral home. Edna was born on October 14, 1914, in Denmark Township, Iowa, the daughter of Bert and Hazel Moyer Orton and has been a resident of Muscatine for most of her life. She married Ralph F. Zaehringer on Feb. 1, 1936, in Muscatine. She is survived by three sons, Ralph Zaehringer, Jr. and wife, Theresa, of Wilton, Larry Zaehringer and wife, Nancy, of Muscatine, and Denny Zaehringer and wife, Judy, of Buffalo, New York; two daughters, Marilyn DeKeyrel and husband James, of Illinois City, Illinois, and Donna Bert and husband, Doug, of Milan, Illinois; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Don Blow of New London; and two sisters-in-law, Velma Orton of Burlington, and Mary Longcor of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan 14, 1998, as well as three brothers, three sisters and a sister-in-law.
