"I just want to say I am truly sorry for the loss of Megan Reeves. She was friends with my older brother, Josh, but was always so nice to me and included me. I can even remember back in Hayes, I was always intimidated by the older kids, but she would always joke around with me and tell me we were friends too. Growing up, I remember playing softball with her was some of the best times I had playing. She really helped make the game fun for everyone. She really was an awesome person and will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers."

"Mark, Lisa, Jacob & Nick - I'm so saddened to hear about the loss of Megan. What a tragedy. I remember staying the summers with Ann & John on Laurel Street, and I used to come over and babysit. I remember those dark curls, so tangly, and bouncy. I used to pull her curls and they would always bounce back up. What a doll she was. She still looks just as beautiful as she was when I remember her. I know that it will tough to get through the loss of Megan, and Nick, I hope you get better too. Your family and faith in God is the only thing that will get you through this. It's hard, I know. I still miss mom everyday. Like my counselor told me, you never get "over it" but rather you learn to cope with it. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Megan will live on in all of you. Love, Jenn "

"I know first hand what its like to lose someone you love. To lose your bestfirend. Its not easy. I cant say how sorry I am to ALL of you. Megan was the greatest person. My bestfriend. She loved all of you with everything she had. Her family meant so much. She would have done anything for you.I talked to Meg every other day on email, and usually once a week on the phone. She was so happy. She loved her life. She talked about you guys so much. How much she loved her parents, how cute Jakes little girls were, She was so worried about Nick and couldnt wait until he got better. And Shad she loved him and Izac so much. I know she couldnt wait to be his wife. Thats what she wanted. Like I said Megan was such a happy person and thats what we need to remember. We cant live on what if's and one more day...If you ask me she had the best 22 almost 23 years of her life. I dont think there would be anything she would want to change. And one more thing, when my mom passed away the best advise I got was that it gets easier. At the time I thought it was the dumbest thing I had ever heard. Why would someone tell me that at a time like this. Well its true. You will be counting the days, the weeks, the months and before you know it a year. I know Megan would want us to remember ALL of the good times, and im sure even the bad. I know she will never be forgotten. I know right now, its really hard to believe, but I know that if family sticks togehter its so much easier. And im only a phone call away if anyone ever needs to talk. I loved Megan too, I always will. Once again, im so sorry. I wish there was something more that I could do for all of you. Love, Andrea Arlen 25885 Sieverding Ridge Road Bellevue, IA 52031 (563)872-3371"
