"My condolences to the entire family. Carol was a cousin of mine, and though we didn't see each other that often, she always had a warm greeting for me. My Brother, Bryan, and I delivered the Star Courier to the house on Goodrich for many a year and could always count on being invited into the house on those cold winter nights when we were collecting. The Stacy's were and are a blessing to have as a part of our extended family. Love to all of you."
"I am so sorry that Carol has left all of us. She was a wonderful, caring, sincere individual - a person who I really enjoyed being around. She was so proud of all of you; often she spoke about her daughters and the darling grandchildren. I hope you will always remember this in these extremely difficult days. I will keep all of you in my prayers and thoughts. Sincerely, Lila DeBourcy (I taught with your mother at CMS.)"
"May your memories of your mother be the ones we all remember her by. Your mother was royalty. I taught with her for several years. I enjoyed her sense of humor and her warm friendly, compassionate ways. Her love for chocolate and truffles was the last memory we shared together. We almost carried her into Appleby's to devour a double chocolate dessert. She told stories of the nursing home residents and her times with her grandchildren. I am so fortunate to have known such a wonderful person. May it comfort you to know that memories of her are like her picture on this page- vibrant and precious."
"To Carol's family: We have all lost a precious human being. She was so warm and friendly, intensely proud of her family. You undoubtedly have many special memories. As a middle school teacher, I saw Carol being so very kind to those in the school building. She was respectful of her students and genuine in her dealing with adults. I admired these qualities in her life and wish that more teachers had them! In her sickness, I saw her continue to be kind and grateful--still counting blessings. We will all miss her. My deepest sympathy to those family who loved her and will surely miss her greatly in the days ahead. May you live by her example. Irene Lary, retired teacher, Central Middle School "
