Sherry Humphrey TIPTON, Iowa -- Sherry Sue Humphrey, 63, of Tipton, died Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, after a battle with cancer. A memorial has been established for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 at the Fry Funeral Home, Tipton. Visitation will be from 4 to7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at the funeral home. Mrs. Humphrey was born Sept. 7, 1943, in Chicago, the daughter of Harry Martin Felmly and Esthlyn I. Vice Felmly. She married Roy A. Humphrey on July 8, 2000, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. She was a 1961 graduate of Hall High School in Spring Valley, Ill. She was a homemaker and a member of Parkview Evangelical Church in Iowa City. Survivors include her mother, Esthlyn Felmly, of California; her husband, Roy Humphrey, of Tipton; two daughters, Tracy Helm and husband, Ed, of Spring Valley, Illinois and Rachel Humphrey of Madison, Wisconsin; five sons, John Piccatto and wife, Nancy, Andy Piccatto and wife, Beverly, Lee Piccatto and wife, Shari, all of Spring Valley, Illinois, Ron Humphrey of Indianola, and Ryan Humphrey and wife, Kelley, of Madison, Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren; and two brothers, Terry and Dan Felmly of California. She was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Harry Felmly and a sister, Suzanna Felmly.
